Geometric surface tension provides visual relativity between structural elements. This isn’t just about formal elements. There are also conceptual, perceptual and expressionist considerations. Every time an addition is made to the series parts of it are extensions of it’s predecessors. There is also something unique in each new addition. There is a spark of newness that can lead to things that are yet to be imagined. The work is an improvisational exploration of ideas and techniques grounded by experience and launched by the imagination.
