The series was evolving into three basic elements. Photography is the base. Everything that happens depends on the original photo. These were taken on a single afternoon near the town of Index in Washington State. It was early summer and there was still a small amount os snow near the top of the mountains where the clouds hung in low and moved slowly eastward. As they moved they changed shape in subtle ways. A challenge was to integrate the movement of the clouds with the movement inherent in the geometric forms.
