The Garden View series came about in anticipation of spring during a cold and wetter than normal winter that seemed like it might last forever. Every day was the same wet monotone grey followed by a long, cold, wet night,. I really needed to see some natural spring colors. The making of the series was kind of an escape fantasy. It was also a way to experiment with some new ideas that evolved from the previous series. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. The image is an example of techno deco digital graphics inspired by the art deco movement of the early twentieth century.
