In this case the inspiration comes from the arrival of spring. It was really a cold, dark, wet winter in the Pacific Northwest. I had been working on a rather dark series and couldn't take it any more. Spring was still several weeks off. I couldn't wait so I pulled up some tulip photos and started Garden Views mostly for the colors. The geometry comes from some of the experiments I did while making previous series of digital imagery.
