The thought of art eco deco imagery emerging from a dust cloud created by a stampede of postmodernist art has been an influence in the creation of the artwork series. Another underlying idea is the desire to make something unique that has meaning in the context of contemporary reality. The art comes from a feeling that there is a need to connect to both nature and technology while retaining humanist values. Visual imagery is used as a unifying device connecting subjective and objective realms of aesthetic experience. Each image in the series can be seen as a step in a journey towards that direction.
