The creative process involved the distillation of decorative visual elements into a synergistic optical blend. A combination of natural elements with geometric shapes focused upon producing a harmonic merger within the visualization. The intended viewer reaction is to encourage a positive mental shift on emotional and rational levels. Soothing floral colors and flowing organic forms are restructured is an exploratory way. At the beginning there was a general idea. The geometry was to be scaled to the the floral image in a complimentary way producing interesting optical qualities. The final steps in the process included the application of digital filters. This was done to give the finished artwork a visual quality that is subtle and pleasing to the eye. The end result of the process is a contemporary decorative image that harmonizes natural and technological elements into a unified composition.
