The creative process started with a digital photo that was taken in a tulip garden in the Skagit Valley which is located in Washington State. The photo was then converted into a vector file. This file was then moved to a program where the collage elements were added. After this was finished the file was converted to a PDF and moved to Photoshop where the finishing touches were added. One of the central ideas which guided the series was to explore a range of technical possibilities within a predefined organizational structure. Another motivation was to get outside on a beautiful spring day and attempt to capture some of the magic.
